I have a 23 month old son that loves getting into the cabinets in the kitchen. We have tried so many things to keep him out such as other locks and tying them shut with string but he always managed to get the locks off or untie the string. I have never seen locks like these before. This set comes with 6 locks which was enough for me to lock all my bottom cabinets, plus my refrigerator. I installed them as soon as I got them. They were very easy to install, I had no trouble at all. They come with a sticky pad on both sides of the lock, just peel the paper off and stick where ever you need them. The adhesive sticks very well as my son has pulled and pulled on them and they are still in tact. I love that there are two ways you can unlock them. The first way is on one side you can slip the cover off and open it. The other side of the lock and can pull out on the pull stick and unlock them. I really love these locks because they do not have to be put on straight meaning you can use them on a corner cabinet or your refrigerator like I do. They are very sturdy and stay in place.
