I drive a 97 Nissan Quest Van and it does not have a cd player in it. There is never anything decent on the radio anymore plus I really hate all the commercials that they have. Instructions
Insert the car charger into the car's cigarrette lighter
Find an unoccupied/ unused station
Keep the transmitter and car's FM radio at the same frequency
Connect the 3.5mm audio cable to your smartphone
The user manual will tell you what station to put your radio on. Since it is played through your vehicles speakers the sound quality is going to be as good as your speakers in your car. It sounds just like it would if you were listening to the radio or a CD. I use this all the time in my van and I have had no issues with the product.
