I wear makeup all the time and my daughter is getting interested in as well. I do not let her wear the real stuff as she is only 6 years old. I thought this set would be perfect for her. It comes with everything she needs to pretend play and apply her makeup while I do mine. Most play sets I have seen the makeup part is made of plastic, but not this set. It fells and looks more real than other sets. This allows her to use her imagination and does not make a mess in any way. It has a cosmetic bag that she can keep it all in and keep in her purse if she wishes just like mommy does. This is the best fake set I have seen by far.
